This is my own typography poster that i had designed. I must say when I finished this design, it was surely cherry on top. The feeling of overwhelm and proud at the same time. It was hard at first to come out with my own design because I had difficulties to design this poster especially my name is a capital "S". Most people that I know seem so easy for them to come out with their names but not me.
What my typography had to deliver was the colour that I used in this poster is basically 3 good combination colours. This colour reminds me of Captain Marvel great combination that I had to go with which is red, blue and yellow. The colours do not bore the readers to look at my poster because I used a red background as my main colour and also the word "YUD". Our eyes easily attract with red colour because it catches our attention the most. Next, I used yellow it's not a bright yellow but more to mild colour. The yellow gives that powerful impact in this poster especially the capital "S" because the focal point in this poster is capital "S" itself. While the caption on the right side gives a good combination with yellow. Lastly, navy blue. I had to blend in with the navy blue because it does not show much of the colour. The navy blue tries to fit in between the capital "S" which adds more colour.
Next, I used the font "GOBOLD" because it gives the reader an impact on how the design looks. I try to maintain the originality of the font. This font is very unique and it is more to block type
