The colours that signify the international women's day internationally is purple because it is a colour that symbolising women. Historically the combination of purple, green and white to symbolise the women's equality. Purple signifies justice and dignity, while green is symbolise hope. White represents purity but is no longer used due to 'purity' being a controversial concept.
